California Department of Developmental Services

The California Department of Developmental Services (DDS). DDS is the agency through which the State of California provides services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. These disabilities include mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism and related conditions.

California Developmental Disabilities NETLINK

The California Developmental Disabilities NETLINK is a project of the University Affiliated Programs (UAP) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The UCLA UAP is to assure that individuals with developmental disabilities and their families have access to services, supports and opportunities that promote independence, productivity and inclusion into the community. The UCLA UAP is an interdisciplinary training, technical assistance and information dissemination program.

San Andreas Regional Center

"San Andreas Regional Center is a community-based program funded primarily by the State of California designed to serve persons with a Developmental Disability, as required by the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act. The Center is a private, nonprofit corporation under contract for provision of services through the State Department of Developmental Services. San Andreas Regional Center serves the four-county area of Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz."

San Diego Regional Center for the Developmentally Disabled (SDRC ) The San Diego Regional Center serves people living within the geographic boundaries of San Diego and Imperial Counties. The Regional Center serves as a focal point within the community through which a person with a developmental disability and his or her family can obtain services and/or be referred to appropriate community resources in the fields of health, welfare and education.
