"We envision a society that embraces all its
members as full partners in their community."

The Training Process

The training process is a seven-step model and usually is completed within one to two weeks. Destination training is provided for specific routes and takes place during the regular commuting time of a consumer, i.e. day program, job, etc. The person learns at their own pace with gradual fading of assistance from the trainer.

Both Regional Center and Department of Rehabilitation referrals are accepted. Training is individualized, repetitious and consistent. Training continues until the person has mastered the independence in mobility.
